This estate has reached cult like status in a few short years and is named after a North American tribe the Cayuse. Supremely talented owner winemaker Christopher Baron employs bio-dynamic practices and yields are very low. This is now one the great wine estates of the world producing wonderful and memorable wines from Syrah, Cabernet, Tempranillo and Grenache. Production is very small and highly desirable rarely coming onto the market in any volume as most is direct via the mailing list.

“Cayuse is no longer a secret and it may be America’s toughest mailing list to crack....but do whatever it takes to get your hands on a few of these gems.” eRobertParker.com

”…a classic Bordeaux-styled bouquet of deep back currant and black cherry fruit intermixed with tobacco leaf, lead pencil shavings and hints of fresh herbs. Perfumed, complex and elegant, with a full-bodied, detailed and energetic profile on the palate, it is a beautifully balanced 2010 that will benefit from short-term cellaring and have 15-20 years of ultimate longevity.” eRobertParker.com
