Peter Michael's Cuvée Point Rouge Chardonnay 2014 is the ultimate full-bodied Californian Chardonnay, which exemplifies the art of blending from the vintage's absolute top barrels.

In 1982, Sir Peter Michael and Lady Michael bought 630 acres of volcanic ridges on the western face of Mount St. Helena in Knights Valley, following a long search for the finest terroir available in the Sonoma. They put in place a brilliant winemaking team to follow and build upon their ethos, which shines through in the 2013 vintage.

“...offers up plenty of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, pineapple and baked brioche notes, subtle oak, and a wonderfully multi-dimensional, prodigious mouthfeel and length. This super-intense Chardonnay is exquisite and a tour de force in winemaking.

”Peter Michael Winery may be the best-run winery of its size for world-class quality..Having followed these wines for nearly two decades, they seem to go from strength to strength, and the 2012s and 2013s may be the finest group of wines Peter Michael has ever produced. This is indeed high praise!" Robert Parker
