Taittinger’s Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 1981 is their finest Champagne. An elegant, creamy style and a real classic from the Blanc de Blancs finest quality vineyards..

Taittinger is one of just a handful of independent, family-owned Champagne houses, which makes vintage and non-vintage styles. The Comtes de Champagne is 100% Chardonnay which yields from six grand cru vineyard sites in the Côte de Blancs.

“The pearl necklaces that the mousse formed are among the most beautiful I have seen in a Champagne glass. The nose is feminine and unusually discreet. Flowery, with tones of newly washed sheets that have been hung to dry outdoors. The acidity is pure although the dimensions are a bit smaller than usual. All the exotic fruits are there, but to a lesser degree than usual. Lovely recently." Richard Juhlin
