The Grade Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 is a limited production Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - more elegant and restrained in style than it's Kingly Project stablemate.

The Grade Cellars is a a small family-owned producer of handcrafted, ultra premium wines in the Calistoga District of Napa Valley. Winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown, crafts two boutique Cabernet Sauvignons - both 100% varietals sourced from single vineyards.

“There are 375 cases of the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon The Grade from the Winfield Vineyard, which spent 20 months in French oak. It exhibits a dense purple color in addition to beautiful aromas of crème de cassis, forest floor and spice box, a deep, opulent, multidimensional mouthfeel, tremendous purity and silky tannins. It can be drunk now or cellared for 10-15 years.” Robert Parker

“The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is powerful, rich and intense to the core. Savory herbs, bright red stone fruits, iron, smoke, tobacco and crushed rocks race across the palate in a wine of true class and pedigree. The style is intense and savory, but it is the wine's balance that stands out above all else.” Anotio Galloni
