The hugely impressive and sought after wines of Bond are the brainchild of Harlan Estate’s Bill Harlan, who has signed the owners of these well-placed vineyards in selected micro-climates in Napa Valley to long contracts, all are made by the Harlan Estate winemaking team of Bob Levy and the world famous oenologist Michel Rolland.

These very small, elite properties were selected for their potential and to define the "Grand Crus" of the Napa Valley. There are now five vineyards in operation and the name Eden is an historical reference to this region's designation on nineteenth century maps.

“…the 2002 St. Eden, is unreal. .. is showing incredible elements of cedarwood, licorice, chocolate and creme de cassis as well as exquisite texture, full-bodied intensity, and unbelievable purity and length. It is only the second vintage for this vineyard, leased by Bill Harlan for several decades, and it has turned out to be a killer Cabernet Sauvignon and a great classic of Napa.” Robert Parker
