Screaming Eagle 2002 is in very good condition, and we have just one bottle available of this rare California cult wine of which just around 500 cases are produced annually.

Screaming Eagle is one of the Napa's Valley most iconic wines, an absolute legend borne from a fabulous terroir and one of the world's finest winemaking teams. The estate was established by Jean Philips in 1992, making her very first vintage in a plastic rubbish bin from fruit sourced from a gentle, west-facing slope east of the Napa River, where intense heat is tempered by cool afternoon breezes. She took a sample of her her 'homemade' wine to Robert Mondavi, they bottled it and the rest, as they say...

”Deep purple-colored to the rim, with a gorgeously pure nose of creme de cassis with a hint of sweet cherry, licorice, and smoke, this wine is beautifully voluptuous, full-bodied, yet incredibly elegant, with a finish that goes on for close to a minute.” Robert Parker

”A wine of great aromatic and flavor intensity with a long, 60-second finish, it is an amazing example of what has become a succession of glorious offerings from this minuscule property.” Robert Parker
