Abreu Rothwell Hyde is the second wine of Abreu, and is easily better than many high dollar fruit bomb Napa Valley Cabernets that are on the market today. It is drinking beautifully right now.

Abreu Vineyard is owned by David Abreu, a native Napa Valley who grew up in Rutherford, California in a family with farming interests. David grew up working in vineyards, and eventually founded the Madrona Ranch vineyard back in 1982. Since his first release in 1987, Abreu's wines have quickly wone worldwide acclaim.

“…all of these wines are truly world-class efforts that stand alongside proprietary red wines made from Bordeaux varietals from any appellation in the world.

Excellent. A big, yet elegant Cabernet. Really nice and jammy, and so well put together. Nigh on flawless. Stunning blue fruits on the nose, with graphite that flows into a rich, full-bodied palate balanced by a refined bit of vanilla, cedar ,and an amazing velvet like finish.
