Arbreu Vineyard is owned by David Abreu, a native Napa Valley who grew up in Rutherford, California in a family with farming interests. David grew up working in vineyards, and eventually founded the Madrona Ranch vineyard back in 1982. Since his first release in 1987, Abreu's wines have quickly wone worldwide acclaim. These wine are, in our opinion, some of the greatest being roduced in Napa today. Wines of great poise, balance and finesse.

“One of the great wines and candidate for Cabernet of the Vintage....a prodigious effort. The youthful dark ruby/purple-colored 2004 Madrona Ranch(500 cases produced) reveals a slight touch of lightening at the edge along with beautiful blueberry, black currant and floral notes. The enticing entry is followed by a medium to full-bodied, lush, opulent, Pomerol-inspired wine (despite the fact it is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc rather than Merlot). There is enough stuffing in this 2004 to hold it for another decade.” Robert Parker
