Biondi-Santi’s Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is the flagship wine of this historic and famed Tuscan estate. Dating back to the 1800’s the estate is now run by Jacopo haven taken over from the legendary Franco who did much to maintain Biondi-Santi as one the premier estates in all Italy. The Riserva is made only in the best years from old vines and matured for 3 years in barrel.

“...a stunning wine that absolutely merits this considerable score increase. Made when dottore Franco Biondi-Santi was alive and very present in the winery, this wine shows spectacular elegance and finesse, articulated with fine aromas of forest berry, blue flower, eucalyptus and lightly barbecued smoke. The wine shows extreme Sangiovese elegance and purity."

“One of the best Biondi-Santi's in years. This is really silky, with plum and chocolate and hints of cedar. Some citrus as well. Full body, with gorgeous fruit and a persistent finish.” James Suckling

“Biondi-Santi remains a beacon for traditionally made Rosso and Brunello.”
