Bond's hugely impressive and highly sought-after Vecina is the brainchild of Bill Harlan, who has signed the owners of selected vineyards in Napa Valley to long contracts, all are made by the great Harlan Estate winemaking team of Bob Levy and the world famous oenologist Michel Rolland.

These very small, elite properties were selected for their potential and to define the Grand Crus of the Napa Valley. There are now five vineyards in operation and the name Vecina is coined from the Spanish phrase for neighbour.

"...closest to the Harlan Estate in quality, with notes of new saddle leather, blackberry, roasted coffee and a hint of chocolate – and again – graphite and subtle smoke. Opaque purple, but still incredibly youthful, the wine is spicy, intense, full-bodied and majestic.

"…absolutely awesome, but then what would you expect from this hillside that has become renowned for having some of the most revered vineyards in Napa?” Robert Parker
