Chardonnay
Chardonnay is the world’s most famous white wine producing grape variety. It has travelled from its Burgundian roots, with classic styles such as Chablis and Puligny-Montrachet, to all corners of the winemaking world.
It has adapted well to a wide range of terroirs, and in the right hands it can produce a wonderfully diverse range of textures and flavours to suit varying tastes: from the oaky and buttery, to the steely, minerally and crisp, and even a tropical fruits style.
