David Arthur's Cabernet Elevation 1147 is the ultimate expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate's vineyard, situated, as the name suggests, at good altitude, which produces single-varietal Cabernet Sauvignon of power and finesse, structure and elegance, extraction and grace.

"...an ageless beauty. Its opaque ruby/purple color is followed by sweet cassis notes intermixed with graphite, charcoal, truffles and earth. Full-bodied, opulent, rich and dense, it is still extremely young, but is loaded with potential. It reveals an underlying minerality as well as a floral component (often noticeable in wines produced from these high elevation vineyards on Pritchard Hill), as well as stunning texture and length. A sensational wine.” Robert Parker

"…the most famous wine produced at this winery… this wine has a dense purple color, good structure and ripeness, beautiful, flowery crème de cassis and spice.” Robert Parker

"…One of the pioneers of Pritchard Hill, David Arthur Vineyards has been turning out great wines for several decades or more.” Robert Parker
