Sloan Proprietary Red 2003 is a stunningly complex Napa Cabernet, displaying classic qualities of Bordeaux's Cheval Blanc and Mouton Rothschild. A remarkable wine in just Sloan's second ever vintage.

Sloan has gone from strength to strength since its first release in 2000. From just 13 acres of hillside vineyards, winemaker Martha McCellan together with the famous Bordeaux wine consultant Michel Rolland make world class Cabernet-based wines.

”…a sensational effort. Aromas of melted licorice, mocha, blackberry, cassis, barbecue spice, and sweet chocolate.

”Notes of vanillin, espresso roast, blackberries, scorched earth, camphor and hints of charcoal and barbecue meat jump from the glass of this spicy, rich, provocative Cabernet Sauvignon. With a full-bodied mouthfeel, sweet tannin and adequate acidity.” Robert Parker
